Food and cups

So lately, Jude will not eat solids from me. He takes them from the sitter but looks at me like I’m crazy. He does however want the spoon so he can feed himself,  I am thrilled to let him attempt this as messy as it is when we do purees. I would like to know that he is eating some of the food though when we introduce a new item so I can watch for allergies.

Any insights?

Jude has been taking a soft spout sippy cup of breastmilk with the sitter since 4 months old. I would like for him to take water as well, I know he gets his hydration from me but I want him to be able to take other things and get the fluoride (I know some of you do not use it and that’s fine,  for us we will be). So far,  I have tried the soft spout with water and even a splash of 100% apple juice, a straw trainer and a spoutless trainer, all to no avail.

More insights?

  1. Will Jude not take anything but milk from the sippy or not take the sippy at all?
